Bacon Wrapped Dates-Whole30, Gluten-Free, & Paleo
/Bacon Wrapped Dates are an easy 2 ingredient holiday party appetizer or snack. They're also Paleo, Gluten-Free, and Whole30 approved!
I LOVE the combination of sweet and salty foods. Typically this combination is extremely tasty AND extremely unhealthy. That's why I'm OBSESSED with this bacon wrapped dates recipe! It's the perfect combination of sweet and salty without the added sugar, salt, and preservaities. And did I mention it's made with BACON!?! If I could eat bacon everyday I would. It just makes everything taste better.
So back to why this holiday appetizer is actually healthy....No sugar is added because the dates are naturally sweet. I use nitrate-free bacon which means there are no preservatives, making this recipe healthier too! This bacon costs a little more, and I promise the taste alone is worth the splurge.
I also LOVE that this recipe is extremely simple. There are only 2 ingredients. You wrap the date with bacon and stick it in the oven. One-and-done, baby!
So if you want to seriously impress your guests at your next holiday party or event, whip out these bacon wrapped dates. They look great, are easy to make, and taste out-of-this-world amazing! Happy Holidays!
